Any excuse to hear a tribute to one of jazz's most underrated, unpretentious vocalists we'll take. And to their credit, vocalist Colella and guitarist Dan Effland do a darn good job resurrecting Dearie's work, especially in the hands-off approach they take to the recently departed singer's unadorned arrangements.
